I highly recommend this stuff & agree that branded mouse skates are too expensive. Teflon tape does infact make your mouse glide across the given surface. This made for jerky cursor movements. I ordered a strip of the Teflon Mouse Tape from FragThePlanet, cut it to fit, and now my mouse glides across my desk like a LandSpeeder on Tatooine! What a difference and way cheaper than the pre-cut stuff! I can think of tons of other uses for this stuff, too. Thanks!
